Kinderlou Forest Golf Club
is setting a new standard for golf in South Georgia. Home to
the South Georgia Classic, PGA Nationwide Tour, the course was
designed by renowned PGA Tour professional Davis Love III. Kinderlou
is a traditional, classic, semi-private golf course that should
provide golfers with the ultimate golfing experience. The course
consists of an 18-hole course featuring 160 acres, 7,781 yards/par
72, driving range and two practice greens. The golf course has
five sets of tees for professionals, men, women and juniors.

Stone Creek Golf Club Stone Creek is a 735-acre master planned
community located on Interstate 75 off Exit 22 in Valdosta, Georgia.
The Stone Creek golf community features a championship course
winding in a figure eight fashion through over 700 acres of pristine
woodlands and gently rolling meadows, the Stone Creek course
is a semi-private eighteen-hole course that plays 6707 total
yards. Nestled among towering Georgia pines, lakes and wetland,
and centuries of old hardwood trees the Stone Creek golf course
will not only test the skills of expert golfers, but will also
encourage the novice player. The Golf Course covers 6miles of
winding cart paths and no two golf holes lay side-by-side. The
Natural beauty and challenging layout will keep you coming back
for more. All golf carts are equipped with a GPS guidance system
that can act as your personal caddie. Gated-entrance, tennis
courts, swimming pool, pro shop, clubhouse, snack bar and grill,
and a full service restaurant with banquet facilities to handle
parties up to 400 people can also be found on site in this community.
The Valdosta Country Club is a family oriented private club conveniently
located in the city limits of Valdosta. Our golf members and
guests enjoy 27 challenging holes designed by world-renowned
architects Joe Lee and Bobby Weed. The course was carved out
of the South Georgia woodlands and pines that once encompassed
the Cherokee Plantation during the Civil War. The three distinctive
nines (Bottom, Plantation, Bellemeade) create three challenging
18 hole, par 72 courses using four sets of tees that offer yardages
ranging from 5,100 to 6,900 yards providing a challenge for all
skill levels. Located on Country Club Road, the par-72 course
was built in 1981 and includes a driving range and two practice
greens. The club also includes eight tennis courts, of which
four are clay courts, state of the art fitness center, olympic
size swimming pool, baby pool and snack bar. The clubhouse dining
rooms and Plantation Grill are available for breakfast, lunch,
dinner, special member events, weddings, receptions and private
functions. Throughout the year members enjoy popular family oriented
and social traditions such as Sunday Brunch, theme parties and
holiday events.
Francis Lake Golf Club is located in Lake Park in south Lowndes
County off Exit 5. This is semi-private 18-hole, par 72, professional
course. The Community also features a swimming pool, tennis courts,
pro shop and snack bar.
Moody Quiet Pines Golf Course is a Moody Air Force Base facility,
located directly across from the main gate at Moody Air Base.
Quiet Pines offers a challenging nine-hole golf course, practice
putting green, driving range, a well-stocked pro-shop and a full
service snack bar featuring home style breakfast and grill-to-go
sandwiches. The course is open seven days a week, year round,
and non- DoD players are eligible to use the course.
Quitman Country Club, located in Quitman off Highway 84, is a
beautiful 9-hole course nestled among the tall pines and lake
property. The Quitman Country Club and golf course opened in
1933 and has all the hallmarks of Georgia golf.
